Integrating Jewish & General Studies

Why a Dual Curriculum?

At Lev Jewish Academy, we believe that an outstanding education nurtures both the mind and the soul. Our dual curriculum integrates rigorous General Studies with a rich and immersive Judaic Studies program, enabling students to achieve academic excellence while developing a strong Jewish identity grounded in Torah values.

From their earliest years, students begin learning Hebrew, the language of the Torah, Tefillah, and the Jewish people. Hebrew connects students to Jewish learning, the State of Israel, and Jewish communities around the world. Research consistently shows that learning a second language strengthens cognitive development, enhances critical thinking and problem solving skills, improves communication, and supports the acquisition of additional languages throughout life. Our students do more than learn Hebrew. They speak, read, write, and use the language every day, making it a natural and meaningful part of their educational experience.

Alongside a challenging General Studies program, students engage in the study of Torah, Chumash, Navi, Mishnah, Halacha, Tefillah, Jewish history, and Jewish values. They learn to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and discover how Torah guides everyday life while preparing them to engage thoughtfully with the modern world.

Enhanced by technology, the arts, hands on learning, and innovative teaching practices, our dual curriculum equips students with the knowledge, character, confidence, and leadership skills they need to succeed academically, contribute to their communities, and live meaningful Jewish lives guided by Torah and mitzvot.
