Welcome from Mr. Levin

R. Levin
Thank you for your interest in Lev Jewish Academy. We are honored that you are considering our school and the gift of a Modern Orthodox Jewish education for your child.

For more than 95 years, our school has been a cornerstone of Jewish education on Long Island’s South Shore. Founded as The Brandeis School, and now entering an exciting new chapter as Lev Jewish Academy, we remain steadfast in our commitment to academic excellence, Torah learning, and nurturing the whole child. Our rigorous dual curriculum challenges students intellectually while cultivating a lifelong love of Torah, mitzvot, the Hebrew language, the State of Israel, and the Jewish people.

Beginning in our Nursery program and continuing through Eighth Grade, we provide a warm, nurturing environment where every child is known, valued, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. Our students are encouraged to become curious learners, compassionate leaders, and proud Jews who are prepared to thrive in high school, college, and beyond while remaining deeply connected to their faith and heritage.

At Lev Jewish Academy, we believe that education is a true partnership between school and family. Together, we create a community built on trust, open communication, mutual respect, and shared values. Our dedicated faculty and administration recognize that every child learns differently and work closely with families to ensure that each student receives the guidance, support, and opportunities needed to succeed academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

We are also committed to fostering a deep connection to Eretz Yisrael and Am Yisrael, helping our students understand their place within the global Jewish community while preparing them to engage thoughtfully and confidently with the world around them. Rooted in Torah values and inspired by the principles of Modern Orthodoxy, our graduates leave with the knowledge, character, and confidence to become the next generation of Jewish leaders.

I invite you to visit our campus, meet our exceptional faculty and students, and experience firsthand the warmth, energy, and sense of family that make Lev Jewish Academy so special. I look forward to welcoming you and sharing how our school can become a meaningful part of your family’s journey.
