Athletics

The Lev Jewish Academy Boys Basketball Program provides students in grades five through eight with the opportunity to develop their athletic abilities while building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Whether a student is new to the game or an experienced player, our program encourages every athlete to grow, improve, and contribute to the success of the team.

Our Boys Basketball Team proudly competes against other local yeshiva day schools, including Yeshiva Har Torah, North Shore Hebrew Academy, HANC, HALB, and HAFTR. Through regular practices and competitive games, students strengthen their basketball fundamentals, develop strategic thinking, and learn the importance of preparation, perseverance, and commitment.

Practices are held throughout the season to help players improve their skills, build endurance, and prepare for competition. Student athletes are expected to demonstrate dedication, responsibility, and respect for their teammates, coaches, opponents, and officials both on and off the court.

Beyond wins and losses, our basketball program teaches valuable life lessons rooted in sportsmanship, integrity, and teamwork. Students learn that success comes through hard work, mutual support, and striving to be their personal best. Representing Lev Jewish Academy is a source of pride, and our athletes develop friendships, character, and memories that extend well beyond the basketball season.
